Villa Senang is set in beautiful surroundings. The beach, sawas and a handful of picturesque villages are a stone’s throw away.
The area surrounding Villa Senang
Villa Senang is located in Dencarik, along Jalan Melati. The villa is situated approximately 400 metres from the main road connecting Lovina and Seririt. A small lane lined with beautiful sawas and wine orchards leads directly to the house. The area is home to local fishermen and farmers as well as other villa owners. The rear aspect window offers far-reaching views of the central mountains of Bali. The garden and the terrace command stunning views of the Bali Sea, where you can watch fishermen going about their daily business. To the west you can see the island of Java.
Lovina
The famous village of Lovina, the north’s centre of tourism, is a 10-minute drive by car or scooter. The village has many restaurants (including Western cuisine, though no McDonalds, Pizza Hut of Kentucky Fried Chicken) and (internet) cafés offering live music.
When you want to dine more luxuriously and with a beautiful view, then go to Damai. This resort is in the mountains above Lovina. In Seririt at the Zen Resort Bali you can enjoy massage and great cooking.
Seririt and Banjar
The little town of Seririt and the village of Banjar have everything you need for your early morning shopping. Seririt also has a large Western supermarket. This authentic Bali town still has many horse-drawn carriages. There are very few tourists. It is even possible to return to the villa by horse-drawn carriage. Both locations are a mere ten-minute drive away. You can use one of the many bemos (mini buses) that travel between Seririt and Lovina. A trip into town costs only 5000 rps. The bemos stop riding around 5pm.
